Recap from TJ Hawke:
This weekend of ROH shows were also used to tape the film, The Wrestler. Also of note, Jigsaw is unmasked in this match (as with most of his matches in ROH).
Pearce and Hagadorn jumped the Vulture Squad before the bell. Ruckus took both of them down with a dropkick, which sent both members of the Hangmen 3 to the floor. Jigsaw and Ruckus then wiped them out with stereo dives. Back in the ring, Hagadorn cut off Ruckus, and he set up Ruckus for a big top rope splash from Pearce. Pearce then hit a big lariat on Ruckus. Ruckus was worked over some more. This was a boring heat segment. I understand that the heels should be less exciting the faces, but this was too much. Ruckus thankfully escaped and tagged in Jigsaw who made a hot tag. Pearce ate a double superkick. Jigsaw and Ruckus then hit a Ghetto Stomp/Jig ‘n’ Tonic combo on Hagadorn: 1…2…3!
Ruckus and Jigsaw were perfectly fine, but man was the rest of this match boring. I like Pearce and Hagadorn in ROH because they were different, but this match did not best showcase their talent.
