This match happened back at IPW’s “Shocktoberfest” 2010 and was for the Airborne’s IPW Tag Team Title’s. The Airborne were accompanied by their manager Greg Carey and had been Champions since April at the time. The H3RD earned this shot by defeating The Noble Bloods on the previous show. Miller had yet to break out at this time.  A few weeks later, Miller would go and break his leg that kept him out for nearly a year. History Lesson is done, Lets go to the match.

Treznik and Dave start out. Lots of trash talk from Dave and Greg too the fans at the beginning bell. Dave then goes to pop a pimple off the ref. Gross. More trash talk from Dave. Finally lock up. Dave goes for waist lock. Treznik reverses with a drop toe hold into a front chancery. Reversed by Dave into a grounded Hammerlock. Hooks Trezniks other arm with his leg. Treznik rolls out, stand off between both men. Another lock up with Dave getting the waistlock again then transitions into a wrist lock. Reversed by Treznik. Dave picks up the athleticism then reverses with a lucha based armdrag into a grounded wrist lock. Dave then wrenches on the Mad Scientists fingers. Treznik manages to get up and pushes Dave to the corner. Another lock up, Treznik takes down Dave and hooks his legs up then snatches the arm again. Dave gets up, gets whipped into the ropes, goes for another armdrag, Treznik reverses with a sloppy looking reverse overdrive. Dave tags in his brother. Lock up, Treznik drags Jake to his corner. Tag in to Miller. Goes to the arm of Jake, Athletically reversed out into a headlock by Jake. Reverse by Miller. Miller irish whipped and hits a shoulder tackle on Jake. Pace quickens as Jake & Miller start to run the ropes, Waist lock by Miller, then transitions into a cravat. Jake tries to reverse but gets armdraged by Miller, Miller Goes for another armdrag, Jake stops it but Miller quickly reverses to the other arm and connects the arm drag. Stiff Kick from Miller. Tag into Treznik, Push Jake into Corner, Dave comes in but is pushed into his brother in the corner. H3RD raise Dave up for DOUBLE GUTBUSTER!

Treznik continuously whips Miller into Jake, Miller then whipped to the other corner. HITS AN OUTSIDE MOONSAULT FROM THE SECOND POST! Treznik goes for the pin, 2 count only. Whips Jake to the corner. Jake hits an enziguiri to counter, Misses the Calf Kick. Treznik goes for the Bus Driver, Distraction from Dave. Jake slams down Treznik to tag in Dave, Front Chancery from Dave, Treznik pushes into his corner. Tag into Miller. Intensity from Miller and Dave as Miller hits a Rope Assisted Codebreaker! Cover, another 2 count. Miller whiped then taken tripped by Jake. Miller goes to the outside for Jake, Chasing game until Dave hits a Dive onto Miller from the middle rope! Crowd gives applause, Miller thrown back in. Dave hits an awkward looking splash onto Miller, Abdominal stretch onto Miller, Hooks the leg as well, Lets go, throws Miller into his corner, Chop from Dave, Tag to Jake. Intense Snap Suplex, Rolled into a pin, 2 count only. More work on Miller’s back as Jake stretches Miller. Both knees on Miller’s Back, Miller grabs the ropes. Jake wraps Miller into a Bow & Arrow, Tag to Dave, TOP ROPE DOUBLE STOMP ONTO MILLER’S STOMACH!! Cover! Treznik pushes Dave off. Dave then stands on top of a kneeling Miller, STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS!! Cover! 2 count. Tag to Jake. Crowd starts to get behind Miller, Snap butterfly suplex onto Miller. Cover, 2 Count. Jake start’s throwing knees onto Miller’s back. Tag to Dave, Dave goes for a Moonsault, Slips, goes for it again, Miller rolls out. Jake comes in and takes Treznik to prevent the tag. Blind tag for the Airborne, Jake goes for a Guillotine Choke on Miller. Miller gets to ropes. Miller starts to hit some offense, Drives Jake’s Head into the second rope turnbuckle.

Tag to Dave. Tag to Treznik. Treznik starts clearing house. Arm Capture Reverse Neckbreaker with the knee onto Dave. Cover, Jake breaks it. Airborne try to double team, Treznik counters, DDT onto Jake. Picks Dave up, INTO A BACKPACK BULLDOG! Cover! 2 count near fall. Dave picks up the speed, tag to Jake, Codebreaker by Dave Holds onto it, Jake hits a DIVING SWANTON from the ropes onto Treznik. Cover, 2 count. H3RD hit a Swinging slam onto Jake. Roll him out, into a DOUBLE TWISTING ARM WRENCH! Cover by Treznik. Dave saves his brother. Treznik hits the Bus Driver (Arm Capture Headlock Driver) onto Dave. ENZIGIRI from Jake! BRAINBUSTER on Treznik! Enzigiri from Miller, DRAGON SUPLEX ON JAKE’S HEAD! Dave hits a Northern Lights on Miller, Rolls out into a Tiger driver, Dave sends Treznik to the corner, Shoulder tackle from Dave, jake goes for the Enzigiri. Miller goes for a German, Jake lands on his feet, SUPERKICK COMBO ONTO MILLER! Airborne go for Treznik, Treznik takes down Jake, Slaps from Dave, Dave taken out to the floor. H3RD go to the top rope, Treznik pushed down by Dave, Cross body from Miller, Jake rolls him up into the tombstone positon, IRISH COFFEE! (Tombstone Piledriver with a double stomp from the top rope.) COVER! 1..2..3! Airborne Retain their titles!

This took a while to get going but when it did, the match was nonstop action. Treznik and Dave were a bit sloppy in the beginning, but they got more comfortable as the match progressed. Miller and Jake both looked on their game. Both Members of The H3RD came off as the underdogs to the dominate champs, but they did all they could to dethrone the champs. This match had lots of high flying action from both teams, and it lead to a great little title match for IPW. I definitely recommend that you check this out.

Thoughts from TJ Hawke:

These four guys worked their asses off, but I don’t think the final product really reflected the effort.  They did a lot of stuff (or MOVEZ) that were fun. However, I just don’t think it really came together.  Mr. Miller has improved a lot since this match, as he’s added a lot of personality instead of being all about doing MOVEZ.  I wouldn’t say you have to watch this match, but you will probably enjoy the match if you did.
