Recap from TJ Hawke:
Avalon slapped her on the butt early. Not much of note happened until Buggy almost took Avalon’s head off with a big boot a couple of minutes into the match. Avalon managed to bring the match to the floor, where he was able to get the advantage. Avalon brought the match back into the ring, where he continued to work her over. Avalon went to the top rope, but Buggy crotched him. Buggy then hit a superplex. They got to their feet and traded some big chops. Bugy got the advantage and hit a spinning sidewalk slam for a nearfall. Avalon avoided a bulldog attempt, but Buggy then avoided a corner splash and hit the bulldog on the second attempt: 1…2…NO! The crowd would have bought that as a finish. Avalon raked her eyes and hit a swinging neckbreaker for a nearfall. The referee has to dodge a move from Avalon, and that allowed Buggy to kick Avalon in the balls. She followed that up with a stunner and a spike bulldog: 1…2…3!
This match took me by surprise. I wasn’t expecting much, but it ended up being a lot of fun. I really like Avalon as a performer, and I wish PWG used him more often.
Match Rating: **3/4
