Recap from TJ Hawke:
Bradley has been one of the big projects for Resistance Pro since their very first show. Vader started getting a lot of attention around this time for this match, some appearances in Pro Wrestling Syndicate, and obviously, because of a pair of Monday Night Raw appearances.
Vader dominated early (duh). It took a while, but Bradley was eventually able to get some offense in. Bradley even managed to hit a delayed scoop slam, which got a big pop. Vader came back though with a running body splash, which took Bradley down. Vader then hit the Vader Bomb: 1…2…3! The match went just under seven minutes.
I remembered reading this result at the time and thinking that it was quite strange. Bradley seemed to be a dominant heel that R-Pro was trying to build up. I think this match actually added a lot to his character (from what limited videos I’ve seen), and in the long term, Bradley may be better off for having lost to Vader here as opposed to going over someone of much less stature. This was a real fun match.
Match Rating: **1/2
