Recap from TJ Hawke:

Stone wiped out Epic with a tope con hello.  Epic then gave Miyagi a brainbuster on the apron.  Busick gave Miyagi a half-nelson suplex: 1…2…3! Johnny Miyagi was eliminated.

Stone and Epic went at it.  Stone sent Epic to the floor, and then Stone and Busick went at it.  Epic got back in a ring.  Busick killed Stone with a lariat: 1…2…3! Anthony Stone was eliminated.

Epic hit Busick with an awkward Lightening Spiral.  Busick hit Epic with a big German suplex.  They traded some big strikes.  Epic hit a big knee and a 2k1 Bomb: 1…2…NO!  Busick hit a lariat: 1…2…NO!  Busick blocked a superkick. Epic avoided the half-nelson suplex twice, and he then hit the Fastball Punch: 1…2…3!

If you have a short attention span (like me!), then this is the match for you.  All four guys (yes, even Miyagi) went out of their way to get in as much fun stuff as possible.  There wasn’t much substance, but they more than made up for it with the sizzle. I think I confused some metaphors. The point is: the match is short, fun, and worth your time.

Match Rating: **1/2

About TJ Hawke

TJ was a fan of wrestling as a kid (starting around 1999), and his first concrete wrestling memory is some kid bringing Hulk Hogan his old yellow and red gear backstage during an episode of Nitro. Hogan needed the gear to defeat Kevin Nash in a title vs. career match at the next WCW PPV. Nash lost the match and his career, which sadly resulted in the world losing out on seeing Kevin Nash matches for the last 13 years. Like almost all young kids, TJ’s interest in wrestling fluctuated over the years until an episode of Raw on July 3, 2006. TJ was curious and excited to see his beloved RVD show up with the WWE Title belt and what he thought was the revitalized European title. TJ decided he must turn to the the internet to figure out what was going on. Almost 6 years later, TJ is still searching the internet every day to find out what is going on in wrestling. Now though, he writes for the pop culture site (411mania.com), has his own blog (The Best of Chikara), and is the creator of the very site you are reading now.
