For this post, we are lucky enough to have Beyond Wrestling’s booker and promoter, Drew Cordeiro (aka Denver Colorado) join us to discuss the match.  Jon Harder, who managed Leon St. Giovanni in the match, was also kind enough to take some time to discuss the match. Contact Jon Harder on his official website and home of the Hardway Podcast@TheJonHarder on Twitter, and on His Facebook

Thoughts from Drew Cordeiro:

We don’t normally run 3-way matches, but when our friends at ISW asked us to contribute something special to their “Armageddocalypse” card, we figured we could make an exception. AR Fox is an Olympic-caliber athlete. This contest marks his first time competing in his home state of Connecticut. Eric Corvis is one of the most progressive wrestlers on the scene, constantly reinventing himself to keep up with the very best. Leon St. Giovanni is an intelligent individual with a bright future ahead of him under the careful watch of Jon Harder. Put the three of them together in the ring and it’s a recipe for magic.

Thoughts from Jon Harder:

After the death of the Professional Revolution on 10/13/12 at All Aboard, I knew I had to rebuild the deck. If Beyond Wrestling wanted to ruin Leon St. Giovanni and my good name, we had to go back to the start. HEIRLOOM ARTS THEATRE in Danbury, CT, where LSG and I made our first impact, brought Professionalism to a whole new dimension. Beyond and ISW soon will realize that Professionalism will not die, and just like we did to Eric Corvis and AR Fox, we will Snuff Em and Stuff Em.

Recap from TJ Hawke:

Eric Corvis was previously known as Corvis Fear.  LSG had on a fake mustache, and his manager, Jon Harder, was wearing a cowboy hat and a poncho. LSG got sent to the floor early. Corvis hit a flipping senton on Fox for an early nearfall.  LSG got back in the ring, and nailed Fox with a spike DDT and Fear with a STO simulatneously.  Corvis hit LSG with a middle rope frog splash. He then hit Fox with a super snapmare driver.  Corvis then ripped off LSG’s mustache before hitting him with a spinebuster: 1…2…NO!  LSG and Fear ended up on the floor.  Fox finally recovered and he hit the kick-flip moonsault.  Back in the ring, Fox hit LSG with the My Dick Explodes, but he then rolled into a German suplex from Corvis: 1…2…NO!  Fox (essentially) hit a top rope Rolling Thunder on LSG, and he then caught Corvis with Thugbait: 1…2…NO! LSG hit Fear with a Buckle Butterfly Suplex.  LSG hit a series of a stunners from Corvis and Fox.  Corvis then killed Fox with a package backbreaker. Jeezus.  Harder jumped up on the apron, but Corvis punched him to the floor.  Fox hit Corvis with the Lo Mein Pain! Fox went to finish LSG with the cannonball senton, but LSG moved and Fox came up empty. LSG then pinned Corvis: 1…2…3!

This match was a lot of fun. All three guys are prone to some wackiness, and I was concerned there would be too much of that. However, that fear was not realized, and the crowd took to everything they did. AR Fox should be on every Beyond show and every ISDub show.

Match Rating: ***

About TJ Hawke

TJ was a fan of wrestling as a kid (starting around 1999), and his first concrete wrestling memory is some kid bringing Hulk Hogan his old yellow and red gear backstage during an episode of Nitro. Hogan needed the gear to defeat Kevin Nash in a title vs. career match at the next WCW PPV. Nash lost the match and his career, which sadly resulted in the world losing out on seeing Kevin Nash matches for the last 13 years. Like almost all young kids, TJ’s interest in wrestling fluctuated over the years until an episode of Raw on July 3, 2006. TJ was curious and excited to see his beloved RVD show up with the WWE Title belt and what he thought was the revitalized European title. TJ decided he must turn to the the internet to figure out what was going on. Almost 6 years later, TJ is still searching the internet every day to find out what is going on in wrestling. Now though, he writes for the pop culture site (411mania.com), has his own blog (The Best of Chikara), and is the creator of the very site you are reading now.
